Pinnacle have announced the Pinnacle PCTV, a TV tuner and PVR all magically crammed into a tiny USB stick. The PCTV plugs into your PC via a USB 2.0 port, letting you watch TV instantly without installing any software. With its built-in PVR functions and 1GB of on-board flash storage, you can record up to 3 hours of TV onto the device, and then watch it on any other computer by simply unplugging it and sticking it into another USB port.

More details of the Pinnacle PCTV after the jump.

Programs are received via DVB-T signals, and can be recorded in either MPEG-2 or DivX format. You can record your TV programs onto your PC’s own hard drive, and even time-shift and record live TV. As if that wasn’t enough, the Pinnacle PCTV lets comes with its own Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) and mini remote control and antenna, meaning everything you need for watching and recording programmes is included within its tiny dimensions. You can even record your programmes direct to DVD.
