GoStudio iPod attachment

This is a gadget for all you podcasters out there. Belkin’s GoStudio is an iPod attachment which records 16-bit 44.1 kHz audio and then uploads the recording to iTunes the minute you are done.

It is not the sexiest looking thing in the world; it looks like it has been designed so it can be used while falling down the side of a mountain. But it does boast a full feature set (just look at all those buttons) for anyone wanting to record some kicking sounds. Read on for more details. The Belkin GoStudio has two built-in stereo microphones and a 3.5mm mini-jack input, as well as two combo microphone inputs (XLR and quarter-inch). To mess with the volume levels you have a master control and a direct monitor control, as you can see you have a few options to choose from.

I find this picture very interesting because her microphone isn’t actually attached to the GoStudio… anyway back to business, the Belkin GoStudio will work with iPod classic, iPod 5G, as well as second and third generations of iPod nano, but not with your iPod touch. GoStudio will be available in September/ October and you will have to be a hardcore podcaster to buy one of these, at $119.99 each they don’t come cheap.
